Mary Lane, Brisbane
GMP Management was appointed the Project and Cost Manager on this $200m development in the heart of Brisbane CBD. The project comprises ground floor spaces for retail and dining with The Westin Brisbane hotel occupying the tower and the luxurious Mary Lane apartments above. Construction commenced in 2016 with the project well underway. A newly constructed Sales Display is located in Margaret Street show casing the Mary Lane apartments. Anticipated completion is October 2018.
Rivera, Surfers Paradise
GMP Management has been engaged by the Principal as Project Manager and Superintendent on this high density residential development. The development comprises two levels of basement carparking with three levels of short-term accommodation and 14 levels of residential apartments. Anticipated completion is late 2017.
An absolute beachfront condominium project, this development contains probably the Gold Coast’s most upmarket apartments. The 13 condominiums include ultra-luxury finishes, sophisticated automation and security car lift in a one per floor configuration. GMP Management was Project and Cost Manager from project inception through to final completion for this $30 million development.
Milan, Main Beach
Milan is an upmarket 19 level residential apartment building, with 16 sky homes, one per level with extensive resident facilities. GMP Management was commissioned as Project Manager during the construction stage, to ensure seamless communication flow between the developer, consultant team, contractor and authorities. GMP Management was also responsible for management of all financial aspects of this project and financier risk management certification and reporting. The project was completed late 2010.
Trilogy, Budds Beach
GMP Management was the Project Manager for the three highrise tower project known as Trilogy. The development, in prestigious Budds Beach, Surfers Paradise contained 137 apartments with pool, gym, residents’ function room and Zen gardens. With a construction cost of approximately $50 million, GMP Management was involved throughout the project from approval stage to construction completion.
Harmony, Runaway Bay
GMP Management was appointed Project Manager for the 119 apartment development Harmony at Runaway Bay. The developer appointed GMP Management after obtaining the Development Approval with the project being completed in November 2009. The project is designed by the principles of Feng Shui and comprises 5 buildings of varying heights to 7 storeys, with an internal landscaped living oasis and energy centre.
Murphys Road, Kingscliff
Located in northern New South Wales, this $10 million development comprises 15 upmarket residential apartments with secure basement parking. Direct beach access, high level finishes, swimming pool and landscaping have been incorporated into this unique development. GMP Management was appointed Project Manager for the construction phase of the project, which successfully completed in 2007.
Ultra Penthouse, Broadbeach
GMP Management was the Project and Cost Manager for the complex and challenging renovation and amalgamation of (2) two-storey penthouses in the luxury Ultra building in Broadbeach. GMP Management’s role involved lengthy negotiations with other residents and the Body Corporate to ensure that works were co-ordinated with the minimum possible impact on the use of the building. The project required extensive demolition works, the agreement of target prices with the builder, and the design and procurement of sub-contracts requiring an exemplary level of specification and finish.
Marvel Street, Byron Bay
GMP Management was Project and Cost Manager for the design and construction of a boutique residential development in Byron Bay, providing (4) three-bedroom luxury residences with carparking and elevated swimming pool. With a construction budget of $3.5 million, careful attention was paid to ensuring that costs were closely managed whilst still achieving the high quality of finish required by the developer. GMP Management was also involved in extensive negotiations with the local Council prior to and during construction to ensure a smooth approval and completion process.
Swiss Bel Hotel & Peak Apartments, Brisbane
GMP Management was appointed the Project Manager, Superintendent and Hotel Consultant on this $50m development in Vulture St, South Brisbane. The project comprises a Swiss Bel Hotel together with the luxury residential condominiums above, the “Peak Apartments”. The project was successfully completed in December 2016.
The Garland at Rainbow Bay
GMP Management was appointed as Project Manager, Superintendent and Quantity Surveyor on this $21m apartment development overlooking beautiful Rainbow Bay. The development comprises basement carparking with 3 levels of motel style accommodation, 7 levels of residential apartments accommodating 20 units including 2 penthouses with rooftop pools. The project was successfully completed in September 2016.
Salacia Waters, Paradise Point
Salacia Waters occupies a prime managers position on the northern Gold Coast and is bounded by water on three sides. As Project Manager, GMP Management was responsible for negotiating and obtaining a large range of necessary approvals from council and government bodies, including negotiating acceptable terms on behalf of an overseas developer. The project provides a mix 470 apartments and townhomes along with retail and home office space, and is being strategically developed in numerous stages, with a total construction cost of approximately $250 million. The project is an exemplar of the latest international developments in new urbanism design, and incorporates the input of an array of internationally recognised architects and specialist consultants.
Abian Residences, Brisbane
GMP Management has been engaged by the Financier as Quantity Surveyor and Risk Management Consultant on this $180m, high-rise apartment project, with views of the Botanic Gardens. The development comprises 5 level basement carparking with a 41 level tower, allowing for 148 residential apartments.
